BSU Game Dev project 3.

Description:

Play as Icarus, the legendary winged man, in a labyrinth designed by your father Daedalus to test the newly invented wings. Fires within the maze threaten to melt the wax holding them together,  so you must put them out or you won't make it.


Controls:

Movement: ASDW / left gamepad joystick

Camera: mouse movement / right gamepad joystick

Jump: spacebar / left gamepad trigger or bottom gamepad button

Attack: left click / right gamepad trigger

Interact: right click / left gamepad button or x

Reset (to start screen): esc / gamepad select button


Credits:

The floors, walls, and ceiling meshes were done by me, as well as Icarus' sword, the copper fire bowls, and the jars of sleeping incense. All other meshes were obtained on Sketchfab.com and were created by the following artists.

A lot of work went into this for sure! Looks great and love the extra character animations. The blend space would transition between walk and run a bit better and you'll have to deal with less transitions on the state machine. I do love the idea of the anim notify to actually do the jump. That's probably the best way to do that, since animations change and that timing is crucial but easily adjusted using the notifications. Love the start screen too. Simple but really effective. If you remove the buttons from the start screen, it'd make a great preview image for the game as well. I can definitely see this being a fun and great game if you could make it into more levels. Reminds me of this game too. Awesome job on this!
