Asteroid Escape

The objective is simple: survive two and a half minutes (5 total levels) of flight to  escape the asteroid field. Your spacecraft is equipped with a shield that can sustain three collisions before you are left unprotected. Any collisions after that and it's game over!

Controls:

Left Arrow: steer left

Right Arrow: steer right

Down Arrow: (pull yoke back) fly up

Up Arrow: (push yoke forward) fly down

Spacebar: start game / reset level

Esc: Quit game

Heads Up Display Details:

The current level you are on is displayed at the bottom of the screen, as well as a progress bar to indicate how much of the level is complete out of the total length of the level. Your remaining shield amount is shown at the top. The white vertical bars on the right and left mark both the height and width of flyable space. If you attempt to cross them your spacecraft will encounter an invisible barrier preventing movement in that direction. Similarly, attempting to fly below or above them will yield the same result.
